Hi, I’m Jen

I didn’t come to nutrition because I wanted to change my body. I came to it because I was completely and utterly exhausted.

As a busy teacher working two jobs, my days were full and my energy simply wasn’t enough to keep up. I was falling asleep on the couch before I could even eat dinner, running on fumes and caffeine. I went to my primary care physician and told her she either needed to fix me or I needed to find a less demanding job. She didn’t fix me.

Eating had always been about convenience and I had never really paid much attention to it. But a good friend of mine started macro coaching. I told her, “Hey, practice on me!” I never ever imagined it would completely change how I felt and showed up in my life…but it did!

Learning how to properly fuel my body changed EVERYTHING. It changed how I felt, how I trained, how I moved through my days, my relationships, and added bonus; how I looked. That experience turned into learning, then passion, and eventually coaching of my own.

Now, as a certified nutrition coach, personal trainer, and teacher, I help others use macros to support weight loss, performance, energy, and real life (yes, even the messy parts). Tracking is a tool for learning. When used intentionally, it builds awareness and flexibility that actually gives you more freedom and more food.

It’s how I live a happily balanced life of protein and Nerds clusters!

Because eating well shouldn’t drain your energy, it should fuel it.
